Da-Gun, First King of Korea

The son of the heavenly king asked to live in and rule the peninsula of Korea. The king granted him this wish and prince Hwan-Ung came to earth with three Heavenly seals and three thousand followers. Once on earth he created the sacred city and appointed three ministers, Earl Wind, Chancellor Rain, and Chancellor Cloud, to assist him. A bear and a tiger appeared before the Heavenly prince and wished to become human. The prince gave them some herbs and told them to stay in a cave for 100 days. The bear waited and became a beautiful woman; the tiger got tired of waiting and departed from the cave. The woman then prayed for a child and became queen and gave birth to the first human ruler.
